New Monitor on average computer

I currently have a Windows XP computer with a 15 inch monitor, only supporting a 800 x 600 resolution. I'm looking to upgrade to a new monitor and saw a nice 19-inch wide screen monitor that I'm interested in getting. It has a 1440 x 900 resolution. My question is whether or not this computer will easily be able to adapt and support this new monitor. The video card is less-than-spectacular: It's an unheard of SiS 760 with 128 MB of shared video memory.

Any quick feedback would be greatly appreciated.
 
As long as the integrated graphics supports the resolution, all should be fine. Monitors are plug and play, so you shouldn't get too many compatibility problems as long as the resolution is supported.
