New Motherboard, nothing loads

bought a new motherboard yesterday, transfered everything off my old mobo to my new one, when i turn it on, fans spin, lights go on, but nothing loads, my DVD drive wont open, i dont hear my HDD's spinning.
i reset my CMOS, tripple check the jumpers, still nothing.
i have no clue whats wrong, any ideas on what could be the problem?

Try removing the drives and see if it works like that.

Bear in mind that if you do get the system powered up then mosty likely windows wont boot becuase you have a different motherboard.....

Make sure pin 1 i lined up correctly on your harddrives and dvd drive there should be a notch at the top of the cable that lines up with the drive if there isn't look for pin 1 on the cable (wire with the red line) heres is a cd-rw drive label with pin 1 marked

It does sound like you might need a bigger power supply.

Bigger PSU doesnt neccesarily mean better PSU. Consider this 500W PSU packing 15a on the 12v line....
