hey everyone im new so yea hi...but i have a problem...i just bought a new motherboard because my old 1 fried..at first it worked pretty good i got everything set up correctly..i had water cooling before on my old motherboard but it didnt fit on2 my new micro atx mobo...so i put an old fan one that i had lying around on and it runs atleast...but the only way to keep the temp at a runnable rate the fan has to be completely up..which by the way is very annoying...but whenever i play games such as cod 4 within a single round online the computer restarts...alwayz...and im tryin 2 narrow it down but i cant figure out what the rob is....something that i thought could be a problem is my ram...i have 1 gb xms2 6400 in the board but idk if its the right kind... the mobo is a xfx 610i...any one have any ideas?...if that couldnt be the case then what could it be?...the cooling?...ive kinda pushed that idea away because i get all sorts of dif temps from the bios when the computer crashes...it usually is at like 75 c...is that really bad?....give me some ideas guys this is really annoying

If you are switching form water cooling to air I would look at your case fans and your wire management. You need good air flow.

I’m not that great when it comes to ram speeds but you mobo is calling for DDR2 667 MHZ and the RAM you posted is DDR2 800 MHZ. It should be fine.

I bet your over heating the processor and bios is shutting you down because of this. Do you have a way to monitor your temps in windows? What are your temps in bios at start up?

The RAM is fine for that board. As said above, I would say your CPU is overheating. You should look at getting a better heatsink/fan.
