can anyone sugest a good motherboard and processor that would be good for gaming and total costs less than $150?
 
O lol. I didn't see the cpu part :)
Edit- i don't think you will be able to get a quality Mobo and CPU at 150. You might have to skimp on one or the other. Or get them used
 
I think a Celeron D counts as skimping ;)

A Pentium D 805 is only $93, that will put you about $30 over budget if you use that MSI but will last you longer than a Celeron D. You could also find a ~$50 board for the PD if you want.

this will allow to to upgrade to a Core 2 Duo with that motherboard. My mom has it, it doesnt overclock over 400 MHZ for a Core 2 Duo CPU but it runs great. Almost the same as DS3

i guess i dont know a whole lot about processors because a 3.2 sounds really good!!!!!!
