Hey guys. I need a new mouse.

Now im kinda picky, but these are the things i want:

Laser (I dont use a mouse pad)
Comfortable (ergonomic style, I use Palm Grip)
Not too many buttons (only tilt wheel needed. Arrows by thumb (optional))
Cheap as possible

Wireless or not, I dont mind.

The best one i have found (or closest to what i want is this: Logitech MX400)

Between the Logitech MX400

and the

Cyber Snipa Stinger, which would you get?

thanks for the help

Razer has never let me down. I've had mine for 2 years now and keeping it till it craps out. I highly recomend razer for a cheap reliable mouse.

That Cyber Snipa Stinger mouse looks nice. But I'm stickin with Razer. Maybe that will be my next one. Who knows.

The only bad thing about razer mice is that they don't have side scrolling. But who needs that with a widescreen monitor?

That Razor Diamondback 3G costs $80 here in South Africa. Quite a bit for a mouse.

Also, it doesnt have that ergonomic shape. Thats the one thing i want most!

Well I definitely support Logitech as to I know first hand how well they back up thier warranty having used it for my G9 which I consider one of the best gaming mice out there nowadays (also one of the most expensive). If you are on a budget and absolutely have to have laser probably the G5 is your best bet.Never heard of anyone using a Mx 400 that games though so its your call.

If you want razor most of thier more popular with gamers, mice are optical(aka Deathadder) some people like the copperhead or some of the others .I have heard the Lachesis is awkward as well as expensive although it is laser.

The Mx518 is a really good mouse that i use as a backup to my G9 that can be had cheaper than a lot of mice That are used for gaming though. It is optical though

I would try some different mice out at your local comp shop if they have display models to see which you like best

i got a question.

How sensitive is 3200DPI compared to a normal optical mouse?

Is there a huge difference, that will take time to get used to, or is it fairly easy to get used to?

I can definitely tell a difference between the way my G9(3200 dpi) and my Mx 518 (1800 dpi) track. The G9 is better but it depends on what kind of mouse pad you have. For my optical I use an old regular cloth MP.I havent tried any fancy ones yet.For my G9 I just use my desktop. It seems like it tracks better on it.I have been thinking about getting one of those new fangled MP and trying it out to see what all the fuss is.

I think a good quality laser mouse works just as well as optical you just have to have the right surface. The quality laser mice tend to be expensive so that is why I suggested the G5 as it is the best lower cost quality mouse IMO.

Edit* As to asking about learning curb the G9 can actually go lower than a lot of other mice with the software (as low as 200 dpi and up to 3200 dpi and is all shift on the fly)The settings are amazing to how many they are,you can even change the Led colors if you need to so you can recognize different settings at a glance or just for looks. .The scroll wheel for instance can take the place for 4 buttons if you need to (scroll, push down, nudge left ,nudge right)

But as stated this is a $100 dollar mouse so it is definitely expensive

It is an excellant mouse
