New Mouse

I see youve already bit the bullet :P

If you hadnt i would have suggested checking steelseries out. Iv been using there bottom of the line kinzu for months and for £20 its one of my best purchases ever. Coupled with the steelseries qck i got today its phenomonal.

I would have suggested checking out a Xai or Sensei.

But you bit the bullet so this entire post was pretty much moot :P
 
yeah I'd agree on the Sensei, or Kinzu v2.

But the deathadder is also awesome, as I have one and its so nice. Just needs getting used to, as its abit heavy and big but after a week it feels natural
 
I did but actually I asked and I can return it. Even if it is open up to 30 days. I wanted to try this one out for a bit before I decide. I'll look into the ones that you mentioned.

From what I have used so far I like parts of it but not others. the travel is way too far for right click. it feels like double the distance that the other buttons are. The feel of the top is nice but the sides are weird at first but I would have to get used to it. Contrary to what Raz3rD said I think it is actually a really light mouse.

I am thinking that I might go with a G500 or G9x. I have used it before in the past with a friends build. I'll look into something from Steelseries as well.

Definately check out the new sensei raw. They look awesome and are great little mice. After using the kinzu ( i assume the more expensive ones will be much better as its bottom of the line) I wont ever get anything other than steelseries.

Id stay away from the kinzu if you have a decent budget. The lack of extra buttons is quite off putting. But for a bog standard mouse with high dpi and comfort its second to none i find.
 
I looked at the SteelSeries mice and none of them looked appealing to me. Too basic for what I am looking for. I'm probably going to head over to Microcenter today to look at the G9x. If that one feels good, I'll most likely get it.
 
Yeh they look like basic mice, but seriously theyre awesome :P Each to their own though i mean i used to love r.a.t's for the looks :P. But the style of SS has grown on me.
 
Ok tomorrow is the day. I am deciding between the Steelseries Sensei and Logitech G9x. Kinda leaning towards the Sensei. Any last thoughts?
 
have one for ya. Mine is basic. goto microcenter and put your hands on it. Its not just about everything it does. Its also about how it fits on your hand. Many i don't like when fitting and wraping my hands around it. But my needs are basic.

I will be doing that tomorrow. I don't necessarily need the best gaming mouse but I want something that is very comfortable and yet has a very good quality. I think Microcenter has one of the G9xs on display. I got to feel the Sensei in the box at Best buy today. That is what really got me thinking about picking it up. It just seemed that it was a good build that was basic enough for me to use it for browsing the internet as well as gaming. Tomorrow I will consider only the feel of each mouse. Whichever one feels more comfortable I will get.
 
Im very biased as i think the g9x looks crap.,...So i say SENSEI!!!!! But pick which is more comfortable. Thats key for gaming for long periods :P
 
Well I bought the Sesnei. It feels really nice and of course flashy is fun to have as well. The only thing that bothers me about it is that it is built for Lefites too. I find that I am bumping the buttons when I am surfing the internet.
 
Not to thread Hijack, but I am too also looking for a mouse, I see the SteelSeries is highly appraised, but what is their low end Ikari like?

I am interested in either that or the Sharkoon FireGlider

I have the kinzu which is there lowest end mouse and its awesome. Stay away from sharkoon, theyre generally considered sub par to the competition. The ikari is also highly rated in the sc2 scene. And if the kinzu is anything to judge by it should be awesome.
