hey guys i'm thinking about getting a new mouse, since my old cheap dono wth it is optical mouse sucks :eek:

My budget is $40 or under, I'm looking at this one, it's a Logitech MX1000 for exactly $40 bucks, good deal? If anyone has anything to say about it, or another suggestion, please go ahead :)
 
I have the logitech mx1000 great mouse. Also look into the mx518 wired, but one of the best gaming mice available.

No they aren't, and get a logitech :D

This is the most expensive Razer newegg has. Its only $60, normally $80. So I guess in a retail store it could be $100.

Well looking at the dpi of all of them, i can get a G7 with 2000dpi for $44, but it only has a few days of battery life so I think i'm gonna stick with the MX1000

I would reccomend the G7 it has two batterys and for me the battery life lasts me 10 hours or more and it is a good gaming mouse i would get lat instead of the MX1000.

Eh, 10 hours per battery is just too less for me, plus, i dont really need a super gaming mouse, i just play css and oblivion. And i just ordered the MX1000, 64 bucks with $20 MIR. Can't wait till i get it :):)

ya but when one battery is charging you can use the other one. But that mouse you got should work just fine as well.
 
yay, finally got the mouse (actually arrived like 2 weeks ago at my home in the US, but i was in china till yesterday). I have to say, it's heavier than i expected, but i love how it feels in my hand. Now i see why all my friends with good mice have the sensitivity set way up :). Anyways, gonna try some oblivion with it today!

I think the MX1000 is a much better choice, I get more on the order of 80 to 100 hours per charge. Obviously much better :D.
