New MSN and Webcam

Has anyone found when using webcam on new MSN that it uses 100% CPU. The previous version uses about 60%-75%CPU. It is annoying me as it takes forever just to do anything while on cam.

I dont want to switch back to older version.

Any suggestions???
 
Nope no problem at all.

I use webcam and MSN 8.5 and it is fine. i can do stuff as per normal.
 
I've used Meebo for webcam chats and all and my CPUs typically around 30% max. It's enough to make the laptop's fan kick in every so often, but nothing major.

What kind of machine are we walking about here?
 
Well maybe reinstall your webcam driver.

What OS do you have?
What type of webcam do you have???
 
My system isin my sig. The webcam is "Creative"

I have not had problems with this until the new MSN. Only when MSN is open with cam it uses 100% CPU. Skype works fine with cam.
