I want to have a gaming computer built for me and I was wondering if these specs would work just fine for a gaming computer.

Yeh, but you'll want a harddrive in there!!

also, the psu doesnt need to be 1000W. a 750 would suffice.

i would certainly go with pc-8000 or 8500 for your ram. 2gb is good...4gb is sweet spot..

go with 64-bit vista to utilize all 4gb ram.

I also feel that the sound card is overkill and overpriced//fatality stuff is nothin special..did your striker come with audio card..not onboard but asus soundcard.?

i agree with scooter, but no need to get DDR3, DDR2 will be fine.
