A Artoonie New Member Mar 3, 2006 #1 I don't think it's possible, but is there a way to update an OS without reformatting? I don't want to delete all of my programs and such. Will partitioning the hard drive allow me to still use programs?

age123 New Member Mar 3, 2006 #2 You can upgrade, eg 95 - 98 with out loseing your progams. I am not sure about 98 - Xp if you partition half off your harddrive you can use 2 OS's. but the old one will still be there
