New parts recommendations

So my computer in my sig is a little old. It still runs perfectly fine and everything but I want to upgrade why I have the money. Looking to spend around $300. I need Motherboard, CPU, RAM, and a case(which I will choose myself). I don't do any gaming. Mostly Just use Photoshop, Lightroom, other various editing programs, and of course internet browsing.

I have been out of the loop for a while. So I have little knowledge of the new tech that is out. I have 3 hard drives, and 2 CD/DVD drives that I will reuse. Also already have an OS(W7 as I despise W8). If you go over budget that's okay. I will buy the parts over the next few months if I need to.

What is your existing case and PSU?
You can increase the performance by get a video card.

I don't see how $300 for CPU + mobo + RAM + case would gain you a better performance than get extra 4GB RAM and new video card on existing machine.
