new pc for christmas!!

Couple of things....
1) What will you be using it for?
2) Christmas??? Dont you still have another 9months to go?????
3) and... I dont usually by brands that I have never heard of(ABS...or is that just the case??)

...other then that the computer is fairly decent :)

1. downloading programs, music, etc. recording tv to dvd, dvd copying, watching dvd.
2.yes(8), but i'll have the money by then.

Yea, with those uses, that comp will do...


Yes, ABS is a solid compnay. Got a comp from them like 6-7 years ago and works perfectly fine still. Good prices too.

ok, thanks for the info, i will have to keep them in mind next time ;)

Picking a computer out 9 mounths before you buy it is a bad idear. In 9 mounths what will be good will be completly different. technology changes at least every 6 mounths.

makes you worry and stress out too. just don't plan it...and when your REALLY close to having enought money..THEN go out and spec it.

I will keep checking up on the pc to see if i wanted to buy it later then
 
Absolutely Mgold ... better to stay abreast of changes here and there and to learn what to look for than to make the master plan now and have it change on ya. :)
 
Just keep yourself updated on new computer parts and things. I don't know if I would buy a full system for newegg. If something goes wrong then you will have to pay quite a lot of money to ship the whole computer back.
