New PC: Need video card and monitor advice

Perhaps I should have posted this elsewhere... but, I'm currently getting a new computer. The specs are as follows:
Amd Athlon 3500+
1 gb corsair ram
160 gb hd
450w power supply
...

Currently in my setup I have a 6800gt and a 17 inch LCD monitor, but I'm strongly considering bumping it up to a 7800gt and a 19 inch crt monitor (would be about same price)... what do you guys think?

The powersupply information I have is found here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811156178

It is the standard case power supply so I'm really unsure. I'm not building this pc myself, but instead opted to order off of a site known as ibuypower.com. I found it to be slightly more expensive than if I were to build the computer myself, BUT it include warranty and me not learning as i go (as it would be my first to build.) I can probably find a way to find out more specs on the powersupply or even upgrade if need be (can upgrade to: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103462 for an extra $55.) There is also the option of upgrading to two GB of ram and going with 6800gt and 19 inch crt, but I've done my research and this by far is not a good option.

K, well your going to have a pretty strong system, and the power supply that comes with the case is very weak at only 14A on the 12v rail. However, the second PSU, is a good sterdy one. It has dual 12v rails for extra stability, which add up to a total of 36A. So i would opt for the PSU upgrade definitely

I would go with the 3700 which is only 20 dollars more, and offers double the L2 cache. The extra 200mhz is nice too, since I'm guessing you wont overclock.
And with the lcd/crt deal, I personally would go lcd, although some say crt has better quality, I personally just like the crisp image of the lcd. It's also a lot nicer looking :P

And how do you feel about the video cards? I'll probably definitely upgrade to 3700+ if its cheap enough, and do you think I'll be good with a 6800gt for awhile( 2+ years?)

Oh, oops lol. I read over the part where he said he had the 6800gt all ready, my apologies.
The 6800GT will be substantial for this upcoming year, but don't expect to be able to play max/ultra settings with AA, etc.

Forgive me if I misspoke.. I am building a new computer and for price comparisons I had a 6800gt and an lcd monitor. I'm now wondering if i should get 7800gt and a crt. I can probably get a 7800gt for about 30-40 dollars more, but would I also need to upgrade my powersupply? I'm hovering right about at my budget now, but 30 more for the video card and 80 more for a power supply would be pushing about 50 over my limit, which has already been stretched about as far as it could be (this includes going to a 19 inch crt monitor instead of 17 inch lcd..)

Will the performance / amount of time I get out of a 78gt be worth the upgraded powersupply and a crt monitor? (I prefer LCD's because I like to lan, but I can still deal with lugging around 50 pounds of monitor if need be.)
