It's definitely not going to be a gaming laptop if that is what you bought it for but it will make a really good work/school/internet computer.

I would've gone with the studio 17 inch. Just because I like the design of it.

I own a lot of laptops...
Dell Studio 17 Inch
Dell Studio 15 Inch
Another Dell Studio 15 inch
Dell Precision M4400

But, definitely if you're on a budget that should be alright.

EDIT:
Just make sure you get rid of all of their stupid software like their connections manager or whatever and I always get rid of the dell dock. Make sure you register to get your free Windows 7 upgrade.

Thank you all ! I'm mot much of a gamer but there's always the possibility. I'd just need to upgrade the video card right? Honestly I'm into photography and that plus work is about what I'm going to use it for.

I don't think it is possible to change the graphics card in most laptops at least not from the ones I have seen. Laptops are almost none upgradeable but some can be upgraded most can't.
