New power supply! Again!!

I suppose that's what i get for getting a cheap power supply. That £20 power supply i got about 2 weeks back decided it didn't want to live anymore and died on me! :(

I've spoken to eBuyer and they've given me a full refund. Good old eBuyer. :D

So, yet again i'm looking for a new power supply around the 550W region, and if you can help it, no more than £50. ;)

i would go for the OCZ ;)
 
Yh, the OCZ power supply has quad 12V rails @ 18A each i think. So it seems pretty decent.;)
Shane, i think i was lucky. It doesn't seem to have taken anything else with it, but i still need to try my GPU because i'm using my old 9550 with a 400W power supply.;)
 
yeah the OCZ looks the best.

fingers crossed your gfx card still works ;)
 
I hope it still works, the power supply would more likely take everything with it wouldn't it? Not just the GPU.
 
yeah i think if it was going to take something with it then it most likely would have been the motherboard.

im sure it will be fine ;)
 
When my first PSU blew it took the motherboard and that was it. A lot of motherboards can protect the CPU from dying a painful death, that's not 100% certain though.
 
Everything else is fine, i've just swapped my GPU so i can still use my computer with an older power supply. I'm still using my CPU, Motherboard, RAM etc.
 
That graphics card should be fine with an OCZ 600W... Or if you don't want to swing the OCZ, get a Corsair model... I love my Corsair, it's really durable and the wires are easy to manipulate.
 
The OCZ looks like a really good PSU!
Like Intel said, take a look at the Corsair ones, either the HX or the VX ;)
 
That Corsair is the pretty much the same thing as that Seasonic, just relabeled... I wonder if there really is anything other than stickers?
