so they are what i have purchased.

i was thinking between these powersupplies.

silverstone :http://www.megabuy.com.au/silverstone-560w-silverstone-p38675.html

Zalman: http://www.megabuy.com.au/zalman-new-600w-zalman-p145384.html

Thermal Take: http://www.megabuy.com.au/thermaltake-manufacturer-p151428.html

I read that thermal take is modular, the silverstone is semi modular and the zalman doesn't mention anything about it. what does modular mean?

Thanks for any help that you guys are gonna give!
cheers!

(sorry for the log post):P

I'd say the Thermaltake PSU, reputable brand and decent wattage.

Only thing you might need to upgrade within the next few years is the CPU.

Modular is when the cables can disconnect from the power supply so you use the ones you need and dont have extra cables cluttering up your case. i would go with the silverstone, they are a great brand, one of the best.

ok thank you so much guys!!
i think i will choose the silverstone because that had two votes.
I will be ordering now, so thank you so much for your input!

cheers

Cant go wrong with either of them, the zalman and silverstone are both excellent units;) (I personally run a zalman)

well i'm devastated...
got an email today saying that the PSU i ordered and paid for is no longer allowed to be sold because the supplier discontinued it. :(
thats twice now thats happened to me! :(

oh well i will just go down to a store and buy whatever i can find
