NEW Proposed Gaming Rig

So heres the thing:

I had a proposed build up a few months ago which I thought was pretty awesome, but I've found something better:

Intel Core Duo E6600 2.4GHz
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
2GB DDR2 (PC-5300/667MHz)
nVidia GeForce 8800GTS (320MB)
640GB SATA 2 (WD3200KS x 2 - RAID 0)
LG 18x Dual-Layer DVD Writer
ATX Miditower (500W PSU)
2.1 Subwoofer Speaker Systems
19" LCD Flat Panel
Windows Home Vista Premium

The whole deal goes for around $AU2100.

So how awesome is this rig? I've seen some promising benchamrk tests on games (which would be the primary use of this machine) but just wondering how long a rig like this would last in the future's lineup of games and how it would run with today and tomorrow's games.

Any info on any of the parts or anything would be appreciated. :)
 
I wouldn't go with a PSU included in a case, get a Corsair 620W or similar if possible, the 8800 is a fairly power-hungry card!
