Hi, I think I'm going to need a new PSU as I'm upgrading my system to the following:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A785-M mATX AM3/AM2+ 785G DDR2
Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 640 Quad Core Processor AM3 3.0GHZ 2MB L2 Cache 95W
Memory: 4GB DDR2
GPU: MSI N460GTX Cyclone 768D5/OC

my current power supply is a HEC400W. do I need I new one?
if so, I've been looking so far at
SEASONIC S12II 620W BRONZE - RETAIL
or
CORSAIR 750W TX
what do you recommend?

I'd get a new one, yeah.

Either of the ones you picked would be good, though the Corsair obviously has an extra 130 watts. The Seasonic would do just fine, though, and is significantly cheaper.

It comes down to whether or not you are willing to pay for extra wattage. In my opinion, I would purchase the corsair so that it leaves you room for more upgrade options in the future.

Thanks guys! I think I will go with the Corsair...
I gather since you haven’t recommended something else that this is a reliable PSU?
