New Ram Boot error

I recently built a custom system specs as follows

asus a8n32sli delux motherboard
amd athlon64 4000+
ati x800xl vid card
1gb 2x512 OCZ pc3200 400mhz ram 2.5 cas latency

running win xp home

i then purchased another gig of ram i installed it and i now get a 2 short beep code which reps. Parity failure , but the computer still boots is there something i missed in instalation that makes the computer boot that way now after the arm instalation its actually slower.

so you have put 2 x 512mb Ram in and a 1 x 1gig Ram in?

I currently have 2 512 sticks . and i works fine i am trying to add 2 more sticks of 512 and i get a parity circuit failure beep code(ami bios)

well thanks to all who tryed to help i fixed it i needed to flash the bios
