Well kind of. I bought RAM off of eBay for my eMachines PC. I was told they would run fine and they did. But it appears everytime I use up a certain amount of that RAM at any one time my computer either locks up, or restarts and gives me trouble loading it again. Playing a low res. game such as Theme Hospital runs fine. Running a slightly more demanding game such as Black and White causes the pc to freeze/restart. Is there a way to fix the hardware that doesn't mean I have to buy a new one?
I've tried switching the 2 RAM sticks around but it still doesn't work once I use a certain amount of RAM up.
Even if there is no solution, I reckon I'll keep them in. It's great having a PC that doesn't freeze when I load up the likes of Paint!!
(was running 128MB before hand)
