New rig crashing often

I just finished building a computer specifically for gaming, and it's been going good, plays most games on max settings, except it crashes occasionally, with a blue screen appearing, with the words "memory dump". What should I do to fix this?

I'll have to get back to you on that one, I didn't really get a chance to look at it, it shut down immediately afterwards. It said something like "MEMORY DUMP" and it would count down until the memory was dumped... I have no idea. I'll check what is says when it happens again and I'll post it. I just hope it isn't damaging my computer!

Alright, the blue screen crashes are continuing to occur, and it's happened about 10 times so far, all when I was doing different things. PCF FILE CORRUPT was what it said, the first letters might not be right though.
Also, I looked in the Event Log and found this message:

No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

You can also use the windows debugger tool to debug the BSOD dump and it will tell you which application or what is causing the error.

I think I have located the troublemaker. Caused By Driver : ntoskrnl.exe When I go to remove this driver, it says I don't have the permission of TrustedInstaller which makes no sense.

I guess there is a problem with the ntoskrnl.exe.It is a process required in the Boot-up cycle of the computer.
Try a registry scan and repair.Also chkdsk in safemode.

Try running memtest on your memory, you may have some bad ram.

download the zip file, and unzip to show the iso file then use burning software to burn the iso image to a cd. Then boot to it and it should automatically start testing the memory.

How do I boot to it? Also, whenever I go to burn the iso image, my disk ejects. :l

Did it actually burn the image to cd? Is there data on the cd? Some burning programs will eject the tray when done burning. You boot to it by going into the bios and make sure that boot to cd is listed first in the boot order and restart the pc with the memtest cd in the drive.

I switched up the RAM sticks to different slots and cleaned the registry, every thing seems to be going well now! Also, I burned the memtest to the cd and booted to it, and it's all good! Thanks!
