new rig problems

Hi guys,

I just finished building my new rig, hooked everything up, pressed the power button....nothing.

I checked all the connections, they're all secured and still i get nothing, i have a EVGA 780i motherboard and a thermaltake 850W power supply, is it ever possible the electricity in my house is not powerful enough to light up the rig?
 
yeap i tried everything in the book and right now it appears to be a faulty PSU, i followed the thermaltake instructions on how to test the PSU and it didn't power up so i sent it back for RMA...hopefully only the PSU is out and nothing else
 
This could be a problem with headers as well on the motherboard, were the power switch is connected turn the plug upside down sometimes that will work.

and make sure its on the right hearder
