New Screen, What to get...

Hey guys....

Well my CRT is giving me problems (the settings just change randomly, and brightness always goes down to 0)

Well im gonna get a LCD (Hopefully LG is a good make for LCD's, cause i can get them at wholesale prices....)

Just so you know, im in South Africa and we dont have a selection and the prices you have in the US....

So here are some specs that im looking for

1. High contrast Ratio ( at least 2000:1 so the pic looks vivid)
2. Brightness - 300cd/m2 is ok but wouldnt mind more...
3. Very high viewing angle
4. colours - 16 million or more
5. response at least 8ms... but 5ms would be better
6. 19" wide or normal...
7. The native res must fit the screen (aspect ratio) eg, 4:3 in a 4:3 screen, not 5:4 in a 4:3 screen please
8. Please keep it under R2500 if possible


Now i heard LG doesnt give the right contrast ratio specs. so im a little wary of this

Hp makes great monitors too

I have a w1907 and it's a great monitor, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms, 19" widescreen for ~$220 USD
