ok, you may ask how i am able to get on these forums if my PSU dont work, im at school. Anyway i just installed a brand new Antec 500W ATX12v Dual and i previously had a ATX 430, 12V WORKS, and i plugged it in and bam nothing, i hear a like squeak type noise(basically everytime i plug and replug it in and try to start up), but not starting up...i realized though when i was lookin at the 20pin that goes to the MB i saw one of the metal things inside the clip wasnt there, seems im missing a cord to one of the 20pins, could this be the problem or do some just come like that? Also i realized once i replugged the power to the motherboard in and a red light came on under my graphics card, i looked it up and it says it means like the voltage for AGP is wrong, it was odd if i lifted my graphics card and the red light went off...anyway please help me!

Im using 2 chords to basically connect everything, i had to leave like 2 old wires on from the fans cause i dont have the right plug for them

Hmm

It should most definitely have wires going into all 20 pins. It most certainly is the source of your problem.

I am missing the white wire it seems, when i compared PSU's. I was looking and they say newer ATX PSU's dont have white cable...this tru?
