New to me pc

I was given a PC from my company when they upgraded.

The company name and the company password are locked in, but that's not a problem, I know both ID and password.

My question is: Can I change the owner ID and create a new password that's easier and shorter in Computer management tools?

I'd just wipe the thing with a fresh format, personally.

You should easily be able to create another local admin account though.

What operating system is on it? You can easily change who the computer is registered to by doing this.
