I just bought a 80mm Case fan and was planning on running it on the inside panel of the case, the fan comes with 2 connecters one female and one male, not sure if i can run it from the power supply since the power supply has a couple of cables not being used... would anyone know if i can run the 2 connecters from the power supply to the fan?

It's basically a straight through connection. You can do something like take the power from your HD, plug it into the male power plug, then the female from the fan back into the HD.

should i have the fan blowing out or in, if i have it blowing out wouldnt it steal the air from the cpu fan?

Out or in all depends on how you want the air to flow inside your case. As it is now, it's right on the CPU, so I would have it blowing out, and your rear fan blowing in. This would create a nice little current passing right over your CPU's fan and heatsink, and as your CPU fan blows the hot air out, it would immediately be pulled out of the case.

I'm in the Midwest, about 20 miles for Champaign/Urbana... I didn't even know there was a Fry's in Illinois... where is Downers Grove? Up by chicago?

I lived in Dubuque, IA for awhile it seems a lot of people from Illinois knows that location, its right across the river from Galena.(Far northeast of Iowa and northwest of Illinois) My wife worked there for awhile.
