I am a new user. Also I am not very computer savvy. If I am posting in the wrong section I am sorry. Please forward me to the correct section.

What is this desktop worth? It's from a friend who gave it to me for collateral ($200) and eventually told me to go a head and keep it. I don't want it and just want to sell it. I had a buddy look over the hardware earlier today and he just said it has 2 Hard drives and that it has an external WiFi receiver so I don't need to plug it into a router (Which works, we tested it) and a cooling fan. He said it worth about $250-$400 depending on if I sell the hardware individually. I think he is unsure though. I am sure I will get a more accurate answer here.

That said, here are screen shots of the specs and pictures of what the desktop looks like externally and internally. Any information other information help!!

Also... Supposedly it is a gaming computer and that I can hook consoles on to it. I am uncertain about that also. Thanks guys!!!

Its worth about $100-200. Its an outdated system, won't play current games. And you can't "hook a console up to it." Don't even know how that would even work at all, maybe if it has a monitor, you can plug into that.

$150 at most, probably closer to $100 as its a very outdated system. Would need to know a couple more specs though, model of motherboard and model of power supply.

The PSU looks to be off-kilter.. Is it missing the top screw? The HDD is just barley hanging in there (pun intended), and it looks like a cobbled mess that wasn't taken care of. I would pay no more than $50 for this system. It would be used as a thin client for the server setup that I will be using.

Maybe if you make it look nicer inside, you could sell it on e-bay. Someone would probably buy it for a thin client use. $50 to $100

Y'all are brutally honest. So pretty much I have a colossal piece of shit? Bummer... and the most I would get out of it is $150? What if I part it out? Thanks for your responses..

Edit: If the HDD is the thing on the bottom... I have tried pushing back up but it it fits tight and snug the way it is...

for the hdd part, they prob have teethed screws with the ridges to keep it from moving, undo it some then move it into position and then put in the other screws to fix it.
