new "WTC Survivor" e-mail virus?????

i got an e-mail talking about a new possible virus. that has titles to do with "WTC".
Now yes i know that its only bad if you open the file that comes with the e-mail, not the actualy message body that comes with it.

anybody know if this is true?

The option to not allow attached files to be opened on incoming emails can be set by going to the "tools\options\security" links in Outlook Express. That will prevent the accidental opening of any virus attached to incoming mail. Having a good email scanner like Grisoft's AVG 7.1 Free edition will flag incoming mail with potentionally harmful files attached. Bogus viruses? Despite the list of hoaxes someone could also write a malware under the same or similar title. The lists there regard what was bogus at that time. To be on the safe side the simple precautions of antivirus, spyware/adware removers, a good firewall, and a few other things can help prevent infections from... ???
