Is DVI a good thing for gaming? I have 256 Ge6800 w/ dvi. Looking at the sony lcd 17" w/ 8ms res with dvi...would it be worth it? Thanx for your opinions in advance.

yes DVI is good. and the monitor looks good with low response time.

Buy the DVI cable online or at a good store, some places charge you up the ass for it.

Usally there's not THAT much of a difference in quality between VGA and DVI(I've yet to notice any but some people claim DVI's much better...)

Go for it if you want and have a few extra bucks... Otherwise, you should be fine with VGA.
