Newbie Need Help. How to install 2 OS in 1 Harddisk.

Hello, My name is kwan, i had bought my new laptop, it's in Windows XP. And, the harddisk is seperate into half, into C: and D:, 30GB each. And, now i m planning to install a Win 98 on my D:, how to do it? Do i have to reinstall and the driver i had in C: (video driver, sound driver .......etc).
 
Yes each OS needs it's own driver base. Also Win98 can't read NTFS drives so if any partition is NTFS it will be invisible. You will need to edit your boot.ini as well.
 
Once you have had your hard disk partioned into seperate parts, each needs to be able to run by itself, not using the other hard drive, meaning that you will need to reinstall everything that was on your first harddrive, such as graphics and sound cards
