^^ Nice build there! The whole bundle pic looks great. Youtube works wonders when looking for ideas and learning new stuff fast! Way to use your resources.

Cost was actually very low. Shopped around. Some best buy, circuit city, newegg, tiger, ebay and monitor at costco.

I spent about 6months gather the parts. Waiting for deals, sales, and mail in rebates.

Plus picked up a few things at the comp usa going out of buisness sale.

Case and power supply was 20 dollars. HAHA (felt like i was stealing it)
Vista and office 2007 purchased from college for 40 bucks each. (again felt like i was stealing it) *friend worked at college book store

I think the grand total was around 900 bucks without the external hard drive..the external hard drive put me over the thousand dollar mark.

WOW!!! Nice....

LOL Nice At my tech center I can get Vista Home Prem for something like $75 or so. I thought that was a steal! lol

no reason...well i guess one reason ...cheap.

dont remeber where i got it but i think it was less than 60 bucks.

Is there a way improve it by ocing it or best to upgrade it later?

Yeah really nice - you certainly did better than my first build, in which I blew up the PSU and mangled the intel HSF!

thanks for the comments.

Its actually really fun i cant wait until my next build...might go ask a few friends if they need one built.

Thread back from the dead.

Thought i would update.

OS is now Windows 7 Ultimate 64b

and new gpu should be here next week.

ASUS ENGTX460

Also, I never posted a picture with the cables cleaned up a bit.

Looks nice, and I thought a spammer had revived this when I first opened it :P

Did you get a 1GB model GTX 460?

No, i got a deal too good to pass up on a 768MB 192-bit GDDR5.

I still think its a pretty nice step up, plus my current GPU has been acting up.
