Hi all, my daughter is after a laptop for browsing and Sims games, Harvey Norman are trying to sell this Toshiba Satellite A500/02S for $1499 but I have found this one at Myer for $1199 Toshiba A500/02J. and the only difference I can see is the processor is slightly slower. I also do not know if the Myer one comes with an operating system?
Any advice/recommendations appreciated.

Is she doing anything else with this laptop besides browsing and SIMS games because if not you certainly do not need to spend that amount of money for what she wants to do.

She is mainly browsing (forums etc), download a bit of music, uploading pics, but wants something that will play her Sims games as our PC at home is 5 years old and a bit jerky, she also wants a bit of privacy - teenagers:)
 
Millsy, I noticed that you are in Australia. What are some of the best computer sites or local retailers that carry computers? You mention Harvey Norman and Myers, are they known for compter/tech/electronics selections?

Also, is it possible for you to link us to those laptops?
