Newby - Help me select please

Hi guys, Its replacement time again, but I'm no expert and need help please.
Using Intel Core2 Quad Series BX80580Q9300 2.5GHz 45nm CPU, which of the following mobos will be better:
(i) Gigabyte GA-EP36C-DS3R
(ii) Intel Extreme series BLKDX38BT
I mainly use the PC for Video Editing. I have a new Gigabyte 8600GT Graphics Card and had to buy a new kit to accomodate the PCI Express card.
Would prefer to use 4Gig DDR3-1333 Memory.

I would go with the Intel Extreme series BLKDX38BT. It has better performance than Gigabyte.

I think the Gigabyte is better, more reliable.

What is your budget for a motherboard? might be able to get some even better.

yea if you have a higher budget, try something like evga. they have really good motherboards.
