Newegg Question

I recently bought my build off Neweggon December 26. I put in 3 day shipping so I would get it by the new year. The problem is that ups says the schedule delivery is January 5, 2009. Will i still get it by the new year or do i have to wait till the 5th.
 
It should come before the new year if it shipped out on the 26th. If it didn't then it might not come until the 5th. What time of day did you order? Did you add rush processing?
 
The reason it may take till the 5th is because of the holidays. UPS is probably gonna take newyears eve and new years off. And then you have 2 sundays. And what day did newegg ship?
 
ya it will take a while. i ordered a new cpu cooler and a accesory for my case on the 22nd or something like that and its scheduled to get here this friday :-/ kinda bummed that its taking forever since ive never had that problem
 
I have done the same thing except my package was a new notebook cooler. My delivery date is scheduled for the 2nd I think, I ordered mine on the 26th as well. However my package is only 4lbs from what UPS says. Perhaps yours will take longer because it weighs more and requires more "resources" to ship? That's my two cents anyway.
