this is a stupid question but I have never ordered anything online, and was wondering how safe it was to order from newegg and what the price would be to ship to a gulf island in British columbia, canada btw i am 14 years old

It depends if you know how to deal. After you complete your order, they give you a tracking number in your email address. If so you don't save your password on newegg its safe. I order alot of stuff from newegg. I trust them. If something goes wrong contact customer support they will help you, click on customer services and then click on live chat.

they don't ship to canada, and you have to be 18 years or older if I remember correctly (paypal). You can have a parent/guardian do it though.

Tigerdirect.com ships to Canada and is reasonably priced.

you have to be 18 years old to use pay pal... but i signed up under my name and just put 18 instead of 17 and used my debit card... so its not like they do an extensive search but then again that was just for some ski's i guess if you were buying something more expensive... i forgot the exact price that they do a kind of background check... but just get a parent/guardian to do it for you save yourself alot of hassle... and yes its safe ive ordered stuff from there and so has my friend no complaints here

I've been ordering through them since i was 15. I have my own debit card and my own paypal account as well.

Newegg currently only ships within the U.S.A.

Hey Linden. I've ordered a few things from newegg and with my credit card no less, which, by the way, you can choose for the site to not save your information if you're afraid of someone getting a hold of your account. I haven't had any problems yet and the prices on newegg are by far, one of the most cheapest I've seen for computer parts. The shipping is fairly prompt and if you do have any problems, you could always contact them via their toll-free number. If you want to buy any computer-related items, I'd definitely suggest newegg.
