Newly installed WinXP (SP3) isn't working properly

Hello!

I'm 16y old. On a school computer, we had WinXP SP2 which had the internet connectivity, We were learning how to install an OS (Pretty easy stuff) so we installed WinXP SP3 on a computer.
(Of course we had to format everything so nothing is left...)

Unfortunately, somehow this OS does not recognize the network adapter so I have no Internet connectivity (whatsoever) and also no game can be run because whenever I try it prints me a message "Out of video memory" (which didn't happen before on WinXPSP2).
In device manager I can find something that "resembles" to the network adapter but it is not the "green icon" like it should be, but it's rather a yellow question mark.

Specifications I know:
2.9GHz dual core processor
2GB RAM
315GB HDD (partitioned to C (where OS is) and D(300GB))
Windows XP SP3 (the one freshly installed)

Please give me instructions what to do to fix the internet connectivity and eliminate the "Out of video memory" problem or point me if I need to provide more info.

Thank you for any help you give :)
(Hope you don't think "tl;dr" when you see all this...)

Edit: I styled the post for easier reading...

Most likely you need to install the chipset drivers and the lan driver. What motherboard or computer is this installed on?

I too thought I need some drivers to be installed...
I cannot tell you any more information right now because I'll need to wait a whole week to get on to that specific class. :(
Do you need any more information?
So I can gather the most info possible in 1 go.

Thanks for extremely quick response btw :good:
