Next Best Thing to a 560 (nonti)?

What video card is the next best thing to a 560 (nonti) for under $300? Or for that fact, the best video card for under $300? I prefer geforce over AMD, but if the best is AMD, I'll survive.

Why are you asking for the next best to a 170 card for under 300? And you can get a amd hd7870 for right at 300

Because whenever I go out looking for cards (I use PCpartpicker) they're either too low/not better than what I have, or WAY out of my price range. So, instead of looking for a while on my own, I'd get some advice.

570's are still awesome cards and hold more value than a 560-Ti due to their better performance, as well as the same reference PCB as the 580 (good for watercooling and aftermarket heatsinks)

They are about the same. they will trade blows on games and pretty much everything. The 570 is slightly faster, but with less bandwidth and less memory. Really, the 570 is just the refined 480, but the 480 is cheaper. It is as posted $200 and should kick the ass of any newer card at $200

Yea, in the same price range your looking at a 7770 GHz or 6950 and it should beat the first and beat the second, but not by much. Might loose to it, not sure. But I would definitely go for the 570 or 480 over any AMD card if you do anything other than gaming.

Depends on his resolution. And the game. BF3 runs fine on a HD 4870 with 512 MB and will run the same settings on a 480 using just over 1000 MB. I would bet that most games will throttle memory usage the same way.
