I have 2 nic's in my computer. I took out my old 56k modem to put this nic in. I use 1 nic for internet and the other i wanted to use so i could stay connected as a network with my other computer. The internet nic works just fine but this other nic wont connect to my other computer, If i click settings and then o to support it has this error.

Limited or no connectivity:
You might not be able to access the internet or some network resorces. This problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address to the computer.

i can click repair this connection but after i restarts the connection it says it cannot fix it.

my other nic will work for the network as long as i unplug my cable and plug in my crossover cable.

Your two card are conflicting with eachother. They are both trying to use the same drivers at one time and they are both trying to transfer at one time. You should connect your internet connection to a router and then connect your computers with network cable going from the switch on the router.
