I am going to try to keep this short but i really need to vent. Recently purchased a dell xps 600 w/ 3.ghz proc, 160gb hd, 2gb ram. On initial set up comp would crash, turned out to be bad memory....Soooo after a month of waiting for new memory from dell i installed the new mem. Through advisement from dell i was instructed to reinstall the OS. So I did, only to witness the computer being unable to download the os. Spoke the non english speaking dell tech's again only to be told that the os disk was the wrong disk for my computer. This is a brand new computer mind you. SOOO waited a week for new os disk, finally received. Then after installing os and driver disk I figured i was all set. Finally be able to use my new computer. Worked well for about a week until i left the comp on for about 6 hours and it crashed..after that, i was unable to access windows at all. Ran HD diagnostic passed. Ran system diagnostic and now telling me L2 cache is corrupt, and memory in DIMM 1 is corrupt. I have already spent countless hours with the poorly spoken dell techs.....I have had the computer for two months now and it still does not work. I really want a refund that i know I wont get. Total waste of money and time spent. I"M pissed to say the least
