Nividia Geforce 7300 GS Problem

Hi I got a new video card because I giving my computer to a friend and I want my good video card so I got a XFX Nividia Geforce 7300 GS 256MB Video card I go to play Command and Conquer Generals and it says, "Please make sure you have directx 8.1 or high installed. Also verify your card meets the minimum requirments" I have directx 9 installed and it exceeds the minimum requirmetns for the game.

I have tried updating the video card drivers and reinstalling Directx 9. It plays other games just not this one. Some one help me?

2.5 gig RAM

umm, the card is probably listed in the game as an incompatible card. sure, the card has the memory but the memory speed, core speed, and the actual core hinder the card severely.

Well it plays Command and Conquer Generals with no problem and the minimum system requirments for Zero Hour don't even say anything about a video card just that it has to be Directx 8.0 compatable.
