hello..
I think I just did something wrong...
now, there is no administrator user on my computer, there is only one single main user with my name on it..
I cannot install or uninstall anything, nor can I change any settings...
I really dont know how to solve this problem...
how can I be the administrator user again..?
thanks!

Go to the User Accounts menu under the control panel, and see if admin is listed there. If not, simply create a new account with admin access, then change your current account to admin access.

well the thing is.., I cant create any new accounts, because each time I click on the "create new account" thing, it keeps going back to my account.
therefore, I couldn't possibly make any new accounts, or change mine into administrator.
I'm really stressed here...

Log into safe mode under administrator and change your account type to administrator. Then reboot into windows and see if everything works then.

Did you even listen? He said there is no administrator account. The only way that would work is if he made a mistake and there actually is an Admin account, but its just hidden.

But he didn't say whether or not he booted into safe mode or not. You can take his post as saying somehow his own login lost administrator priveledges. We really can't tell unless he specifies he already has tried safe mode.

Yeah, boot up into safemode and then it will automatically show the administartor icon and you just click it. It doesnt have a password and you can change anything from there so just go to the control panel and change your user level.
