No AMD DDR3 mobos!?

is this true? I want to upgrade my mobo and i want it to be future proof. Are there any AMD DDR3 mobos out there? Is it a bad idea to switch to intel in order to get a DDR3 mobo?

I've been reading DDR3 should be coming out when the AM3 sockets come out - possibly Q1, 2009.

Sorry for this one, looks like they dont like fitting DDR3 with AM2, DDR3 and AM3 would be easier to remember for their minds....

That's right, there are no DDR3 mobos for AMD CPUs, because Athlons and current Phenoms only have DDR2 memory controllers. Only the 45nm Phenoms will have DDR3 memory controllers, they're coming out Q1 next year.
