Can I have some ones help?

I have a pc with MS-DOS not able to boot up. When I turn it on a message come up "no boot device present. Halting. Does any body knows what does it mean?

Thanks in advance.

It means no hard drive has been detected. Could have failed.or maybe just a loose cable.

Operating system not found means exactly that. No OS has been found. Sounds like you have a hard drive problem.

You can't clone a drive from another system and put it in yours. It's 2 different systems and it wouldn't boot up because the OS would be setup to work for the other machine, not yours.

First figure out whats wrong with the hard drive then reinstall windows using a genuine windows install cd and a valid key.
