my compy wont boot. i have tried turning it on over and over, unplugging it, and all this crap. no fans, no nothing.   HELP!

Take a look at your power switch connections then, i cant think of much else, other than motherboard death.

yes, motherboard dead, are you plugging in the 4 pin connector? are you pluggin in the 20 pin one? ist eh cord bad? is the on/off switch on 0 no 1?

and "no fans" your not including the CPU heatsink/fan

um....it worked fine last night , then i shut it down. shut down fine. come home and flip switch and wait 10-20min and nothing happens.

If you have nothing, no power up at all, I would say the P/S or dead motherboard or a bad power switch on the case

YES IT IT FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the power switch is working fine! the PSU should be good, im putting a different psu in my case, but lightning is all over so it will have to wait. in the meantime, i wants some advice as to wat to do ith a fried mobo.

are you SURE the mobo is friend? did you blow a fuse? are you on 120V not 220V? or whatever the PSU says? plug in the mobo with apsu, no connections THEN see if its dead

well......it still does not work with a different PSU. any good mb reccomedations for under $50, compatible with the rig in my sig?

computers dont run off of batteries, AC power, only laptops run off of batteries, and the only one there is the BIOS battery
