No fan

is it possible to get a graphics card that doesnt have a fan? are they called hintsinks or something? i need a new graphics card because mine sounds like its about to explode! thanks!

Have you even bothered looking around. A good few cards don't have fans still. Lower end ones, of course. And yes, they have just heatsyncs. Others have heatsyncs and fans.

All graphics cards have heatsinks. The ones without a fan just have a larger fan. And the answer to your question is yes.
