I recently reformatted my boot disk and reinstalled Win XP SP2. A partition on one of my hard drives(I have 3 installed) shows up in Windows as Local Drive J:
When I try to access it I get an error message:
"The request can no be performed because a I/O device error".
I've checked it out in Disk Management and it shows Status "Healthy" but under File System there is nothing listed. All the other partitions have the correct NTFS listed.
The drive is connected to a RAID Connector cable. I can access the other partition on the drive just not the one listed as J:/
any ideas?
I have data on that J: partition I want to get to and backup.
TIA,
KT
