No Internet. Why?

Hello, got a new computer that I put into our garden house. My pc has a Wirless N PCI Express Adapter inserted and I wanted to install it. Just one problem:

when I put the CD in to install it, it cant locate any wireless connections. I am sitting right now next to my pc, typing from my laptop, whcih can recieve the internet connection I want. Why can't my pc find the wanted connection?? I doubt my 4-5 year old laptop has a stronger connection then my new pc, so what may be the problem?
 
In my house the is the main computer who I think has a netgear. Then there is the second computer whcih is also connected. This computer sends out the signal that should reach the garden house where my pc is standing and where I am sitting right now. The connection that I am using from my laptop is the one extra made for the garden house.

Is this the type of information you where looking for?
