Hello
I have win xp pro in a computer called SERVER. Every folder xxx I create and share in SERVER is not accessible from the same computer. That is to say, if I browse \\SERVER\xxx from the computer called SERVER then I get an error telling that I have no permissions. Could you please help with this?
Permissions are set to total control for everyone. I do not think that is the matter. It is strange that this thing started happening yesterday withot apparent reason because I had checked that it had been working fine a few minutes before I detected the problem.
It is very strange because I have two computers SERVER and B with win xp pro. One of them, let's call it B, can access its own shared folders but the other called SERVER cannot access its own shared folders. And of course, if SERVER cannot access its own shared folders, it would be strange that others like B could access those shared folders in SERVER and indeed A cannot access them either. Moreover, it is strange that local shared folders in SERVER were working fine for half an hour until something happened.
Any idea?
Thanks a lot.
