No picture

wut is a cpu

I just bought a Haf 922 case and attempted to move my old computer(just a gateway) into the new case. I also changed my psu to a 600w and installed a GPU 560ti. Before I just had integrated.

Well after everything was hooked I hope correctly I plugged it in and everything ran right. All the fans ran and the LEDs came on. Also there was a beep.

When I hooked up my monitor(which worked 2 hours before this) I get no picture at all. I'm using the mini HDMI cable through the card. I even tried just using normal HDMI through the motherboard and still nothing.

Does anyone know why could be wrong. I didn't touch my ram or CPU but I just can't figure it out.

Did you remove all old video drivers before moving the system over to the case?
If you can't get it running, pull the new card and try the built in card again. I had similar issues when I moved my Emachines ET1331G-03 into a new case, with 650 Watt PSU and XFX 5770.

Ended up pulling the 5770, booting the system, it worked, so I shut it down and put the 5770 back in. Then for some odd reason it ran just fine.

Well I got home and tried turning it on and magically it did and now I can see picture.

I'm in this screen now that says: your computer was unable to start. Startup repair is checking your system for problems.

And the attempting repair status bar just shows a blue thing going across like when you're downloading something.

So is this a bad sign that I messed something up

Nah just let it do it's thing. When it's done it'll restart normally.

It says startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically.

Problem signature 01- 6.1.7600.16385
02 - 6.1.7600.16385
03 - unknown
04 - 77
05 - auto failover
06 - 1
07 - bad driver

Lol ok you were right. Everything worked like normal and I'm installing the driver.

Is it normal for it to look like crap at first?
