No place to plug in CDDrive?

CD/DVD Drives only run at ATA33 speeds, so they wouldnt move to SATA for a speed increase, because they could just run the drives at ATA100/133. I think the reason for the low data transfer isnt in the cable, but with what the CD/DVD drive can read at.

Ya I don't think cd's will ever competely make the switch to sata, now maybe with like hd-dvd or blu-ray if they can get the read times faster and the data transfer quicker.
